What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website places on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. They can be first-party (set by the site you’re visiting) or third-party (set by another service, such as an advertising provider).

We don’t use cookies to read or store the numbers you enter in calculators — those never leave your browser. Exact cookie names used by Google can change over time; see Google’s cookie documentation.
How to control cookies
- Consent message: visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland can accept or reject advertising cookies, and change their choice at any time through the privacy settings link.
- Google Ads Settings: turn off personalized ads at adssettings.google.com.
- Industry opt-outs: aboutads.info/choices (U.S.) and youronlinechoices.eu (Europe).
- Your browser: block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect how some sites work, but every calculator here works without them.
